A major benefit of the Google Voice system is that you can make outgoing calls from any phone. Therefore by merely selecting your Google Voice telephone # as on of your free "friends" all outgoing calls from your cell will be free when you route them through the Google Voice number. Obviously by making the Google Voice number the number you place on your business cards, stationary and websites, all incoming calls are free, even if forwarded to your cell number.

Cut Your Cell Phone Bill in Half - Internet Marketing Guru Randy Kirk Explains
Home Business Use for Google Voice
Los Angeles - Internet Marketing
Dilemma: I don't want my clients using up my cell phone minutes when I'm at home or in my office, but I want my cell phone on my business card so that I'm always accessible. Now with Google Voice, you can handle this issue with ease.
When at home, program the Google line to forward to your land line first. If that line doesn't answer, then have it ring your cell. If you forget or choose not to revise this set up when you leave the house, the call still gets to you on your cell.
When you are leaving the house, have the calls routed directly to your cell phone. If you forget to change it back when you get home, and you receive a call that gets forwarded to your cell, merely go on line during the call and have it transferred to your land line during the conversation.

Los Angeles: Small Business Book Author, Randy Kirk, admits to being a little "late to the game" when it comes to Google Voice and the huge potential it holds for home businesses and small local companies. Kirk sees limitless internet marketing opportunities in addition to traditional phone use of the new offering from Google. Hopefully, the launching of a blog dedicated to the features and benefits of Google Voice for the small business community will hopefully make up for lost time.
